Python Developer with AI Experience
Planet Technology has partnered with a Dallas area company to locate a Python Developer with GenAI and Azure experience for a contract role. The position is local to Dallas and requires the successful candidate to be onsite 2-3 days a week.
Notes: Please do not apply if you are not willing to go into the office 2-3 days a week. C2C candidates are welcome to apply provided you are local to Dallas and willing to go into the office.
The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience, a deep understanding of GenAI frameworks, and proficiency in deploying scalable applications on Azure.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Implement and optimize Generative AI models, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Deploy and manage AI/ML solutions on Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Develop robust integrations with cloud-based services and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and frontend developers, to deliver AI-driven applications.
• Optimize and troubleshoot backend performance and security issues.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI/ML, cloud computing, and best coding practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience working with AI projects.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain).
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Key Vault.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, security considerations, and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
