Job Summary:

This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade solutions to drive business transformation and streamline operations. This position involves providing technical advisory services, supporting pre-sales efforts, and engaging in client discovery to ensure clients maximize the value of the Power Platform in their business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Power Platform Architecture & Advisory:
• Solution Design & Implementation: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Power Platform components such as Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, and Portals), Power Automate workflows, Power BI dashboards, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Platform Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize performance, enhance user experience, and increase efficiency using Power Platform best practices and automation.
• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams and stakeholders on best practices for building and managing Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• System Assessments: Evaluate existing client applications and processes, identifying areas for automation and efficiency using Power Platform capabilities.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, implementation guides, governance frameworks, and best practices.

Sales Engineering & Pre-Sales Support:
• Pre-Sales Consulting: Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise during the sales process, including delivering demos, technical presentations, and proofs of concept (POCs) for Power Platform solutions.
• Customized Solution Design: Translate customer requirements into tailored solutions that demonstrate the value, scalability, and ROI of Power Platform investments.
• Proposal Development: Assist in crafting responses to RFPs and RFIs, providing Power Platform-driven solutions aligned with client needs and challenges.

Customer Discovery & Engagement:
• Client Engagement: Partner closely with clients to understand their business challenges and identify how Power Platform solutions can deliver value, improve efficiency, and foster innovation.
• Workshops & Deep Dives: Lead client workshops and technical discussions, focusing on Power Platform architecture, data integration, security, and process optimization strategies.
• Customer Feedback Loop: Gather and analyze client feedback to continuously refine Power Platform solutions and inform future service offerings.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing and architecting Power Platform solutions in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience in technical advisory, consulting, or pre-sales roles with a focus on Power Platform technologies.

Skills & Competencies:
• Power Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents, along with integration capabilities using Dataverse, SharePoint, and other data sources.
• Automation & Process Improvement: Strong background in business process automation and workflow optimization.
• Data Analytics: Proficient in data modeling, visualization, and reporting using Power BI, with a focus on actionable insights.
• Security & Governance: Familiarity with Power Platform security, including role-based access control (RBAC), data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Solution Architecture: Experience in designing scalable and maintainable solutions that align with business needs and governance standards.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and delivering business impact.
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams, including business users, IT, and sales, to ensure successful solution delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Power Apps Developer Associate).
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in the context of low-code/no-code solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance requirements, including GDPR and HIPAA.
