Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
This is NOT a C2C Position
Pay Rate: 45-55/hr W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a PowerBuilder Developer & IT Analyst with expertise in PowerBuilder (version 7 or higher) and T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data management, source control, unit testing, documentation, testing, production support, change management, software development, and data integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Some college coursework, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
• Ability to work in a hybrid office environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt
Required Skills & Experience:
• PowerBuilder Development (5+ years): Research and modify PowerBuilder source code, documenting application data processes.
• T-SQL Query Writing (10+ years): Write complex T-SQL queries for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases to extract and manipulate data for migration and cleansing.
• Data Management (10+ years): Perform data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis.
• Source Control (5+ years): Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps or GIT for source control.
• Unit Testing (10+ years): Document and conduct unit testing to support program modifications.
• Documentation (10+ years): Create, update, and maintain program documentation, system specifications, and flow diagrams.
• Testing (5+ years): Collaborate with clients and Business Analysts to support test scenarios.
• Production Support (5+ years): Analyze issues, determine root causes, and provide root cause analysis.
• Change Management (5+ years): Adhere to change management procedures and contribute to execution planning.
