Job Summary:

We are seeking a Power BI and SQL Server Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, and data analytics, with a strong ability to write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and visualization. This role requires proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling to create compelling, interactive reports that drive business decision-making. An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and experience in handling large datasets for data retrieval and transformation are essential.

Key Responsibilities-

Power BI Development:
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business users.
• Create DAX calculations, measures, and data transformations to enhance reporting functionality.
• Implement Power Query transformations to clean and model data efficiently.
• Optimize Power BI performance for large datasets and complex data relationships.
• Deploy and maintain Power BI Service, including workspaces, row-level security (RLS), and automated data refreshes.

SQL Server Development:
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.
• Utilize joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions, and aggregation techniques to prepare data for reporting.
• Collaborate with business users to define data extraction needs and structure queries accordingly.
• Ensure data integrity and completeness when pulling data from multiple sources.
• Work with data engineers or DBAs to optimize data extraction workflows for Power BI.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and report building.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, views, and indexing.
• Ability to analyze and visualize complex datasets in Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
