Our banking client is seeking a PowerBI Developer to join their team. As a PowerBI Developer, you will be part of the Business Intelligence department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for data visualization which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PowerBI Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid

Pay Range: $70-75/hr W2

What's the Job?

   • Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, and report/dashboard creation.

   • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for efficient and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.

   • Develop complex Power BI data models to enable accurate and efficient data analysis and visualization.

   • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and work with stakeholders to address them.

   • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Power BI developers, assisting them in solving complex problems and improving their skills.

What's Needed?

   • 3 – 5 years’ experience as an analytics developer specializing in Power BI.

   • Proficient in utilizing Power Query and DAX.

   • Must have strong DAX experience

   • Educated to degree level preferably in an IT-related discipline, or with significant industry experience.

   • A very strong understanding of relational and dimensional databases.

   • A flair for clean User Interface / Dashboard design principles.
