Power BI Developer

W2 only. NO -- C2C / CORP-CORP / 1099 / 3RD PARTY CANDIDATES.

12+ month renewable term contract. Likely to extend multi-year / option to hire.

Client: A major global corporation and leader in their industry operating over 350 manufacturing facilities with annual revenue over $24B and employing over 15,000.

Overview:

This position is a member of the digital manufacturing team and contributes to digital manufacturing engineering solutions matching the vision of the product suite's business functionality or technical landscape. The priority and scope of work is determined through collaboration with other operations team members, SMEs, and potentially external vendors. The focus of this position will deliver results matching expected timelines and value.

Role:
• Work within the digital manufacturing operations team to provide technical support to the digital manufacturing team and factory information systems teams.
• Leverage existing technical skillsets, develop new ones, or work with consultants to drive results.
• Use Agile methodologies to ensure the portfolio backlog is aligned, maintained and achieved throughout project cycles.
• Execute solutions based on strategic vision.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, and technical solutions to support and streamline digital manufacturing solutions.
• Utilize skills in reporting system design and development with a focus on detailed work, report creation, with analysis and design skills for reporting systems and processes that will mirror the business processes.

Qualifications:
• 8+ years work experience in the United States.
• Ability to be employed by TechnoSmarts as a W2 by start date.
• 6 - 8+ years experience in Power BI report development.
• SSRS – SQL Server Reporting Services experience.
• SQL Server & DB2 experience.
• Data cubes experience.
• Experienced creating visualizations / dashboards.
• Experienced using both on premises & cloud databases.
• Understanding publishing & report lifecycle.

• When to use various reporting technology
• SSAS – SQL Server Analysis Services is a plus.
• Experience converting reports from Jaspersoft is a plus.
• Data management experience is a plus.
• Experience in data modeling is a plus.
