Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

   • Possess understanding of Microsoft components like Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and related data processing tools.

   • Design data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Fabric data lake, ensuring data quality and consistency.

   • Analyze query performance and optimize data models for efficient data retrieval and analysis across different workloads within Fabric, such as Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Spark.

   • Implement data quality checks and data security measures to maintain data integrity and compliance within the Fabric environment.

   • ensure successful adoption and utilization of Microsoft azure/fabric and Power BI.

Required Qualifications:

   • Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft components like Azure DevOps, Containers, Data Factory, Fabric Notebooks, data integration and ETL processes.

   • Execution and support for use of Parque file creation and management.

   • Experience in Power BI development and Power Query for dashboard creation and data visualization.

   • Knowledge of SQL for data access and analysis, data manipulation, query optimization, and data cleansing.

   • Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure/Fabric/Synapse).

   • Experience with remodeling and/or re-platforming of legacy application databases.

   • Exposure to data architecture implementation on Azure/Fabric.
