PROJECT OVERVIEW

4 openings total Day-to-day development – procedures, functions, packages – some production support as well. Work in an agile environment with a 2 week sprint. Fast-paced environment. Prime Brokerage data - securities related. Migration away from SQL Server to Oracle.

For at least one of these roles, they need to have strong SQL Server experience.

• 1) Must be good with prod support (once a week may need to do after-hours until 8pm as needed) and fast-paced environment

1. 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle pl/sql developer.

2. Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.

3. Skilled at performance tuning Ability to handle 100 million records of data overall – must be comfortable with huge volumes

4. Lots of batch processing

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle pl/sql developer.

Strong RDBMS skills – SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.

Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and design skills with a desire to continually learn and grow in a collaborative team environment

Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.

Knows ETL processes to load large volumes of data at speed, e.g. SQL Loader, etc.

Has experience in Linux environment and knows basic Unix commands.

Experience working with team in Agile methodology

Knowledge of Core Java, Python, scheduling tool like Control-M is nice to have.

Experience in database modeling.

AWS Cloud experience is a plus

Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in Financial Industry preferably in Capital Markets/ Securities Finance.

5+ years working in financial industry is a plus.

Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry

Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.

Motivated and able to deliver end to end solutions.

Good communication skill to both technology folks and business partners.

Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions.
