Job Description: Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. This is a hands-on development role, and the ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in PL/SQL development, SQL query optimization, and database performance tuning. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications within our middleware platform, working closely with business stakeholders and other technical teams. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance IT applications within the middleware platform.
• Elicit business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including planning, development, coding, testing, production migration, and maintenance.
• Design user flows, platform architecture, software patterns, and data models.
• Adhere to application standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream application teams and infrastructure teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 7+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong SQL query writing skills and experience with query optimization.
• Proven ability to perform database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with database concepts and best practices.
• Experience with Toad and SQL Developer.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Knowledge of Java application servers (e.g., Oracle WebLogic, Apache, IBM WebSphere).
• Familiarity with internet technologies (HTML, XML, WSDL, scripting languages).
• Experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud).
• Certifications in Java, Cloud Solutions, or Oracle PL/SQL.
