Oracle Integration Cloud Technical Specialist
e&e is seeking an Oracle Integration Cloud Technical Specialist for a hybrid contract opportunity in Washington, D.C.!
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Specialist to support enterprise integration efforts. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integration solutions using Oracle technologies, particularly within the Oracle Integration Cloud suite. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle middleware, SaaS, and cloud technologies, and be adept at supporting both real-time and batch integrations across diverse systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day operational support including resolution of help desk issues and end-user assistance.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with file-based, REST, and SOAP adapters.
• Build and maintain integration flows between Oracle SaaS applications and third-party systems.
• Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and implement real-time and batch integrations.
• Develop Web Services/APIs for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments leveraging OIC.
• Deliver technical design documentation and collaborate in technical design decision-making.
• Implement best practices for error handling, monitoring, scheduling, auditing, and alerting within OIC integrations.
• Utilize OIC features such as Mapping, Lookups, XSLT, Agents, Connections, and Packages.
• Support end-to-end testing and coordinate with functional and QA teams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; OR equivalent of 10 years’ experience in the software industry.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in software application design, development, and testing.
• 7+ years' experience working with Oracle SOA, OIC, or other Oracle middleware tools.
• Demonstrated success in at least one full-cycle implementation involving Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS using OIC.
• 3+ years’ hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) in a SaaS environment.
• Experience interfacing Oracle Cloud/ERP with third-party systems (7+ years).
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle SaaS modules (Procurement, Financials, Projects).
• Ability to utilize pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, SaaS connections, and more.
• Solid experience with REST, API, SOAP, FBDI, PL/SQL, and Oracle-delivered Web Services.
• Experience with Oracle Database Cloud Services (DBCS) and Managed File Transfer (MFT).
• Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a plus.
