Position: 250022 - Oracle Finance AnalyticsLocation: Hybrid - San Antonio, Texas (3-4 days/week onsite)
An Oracle Finance Analytics Analyst includes using Oracle's financial software suite to analyze large datasets, generate insightful reports, and support decision-making by extracting key financial trends and metrics, often focusing on areas like budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, cost analysis, and profitability within an organization, all while leveraging Oracle's data visualization tools to present findings effectively; requiring strong analytical skills, familiarity with Oracle financial modules (like General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Payables), and proficiency in data manipulation and reporting functionalities.
Responsibilities:

Data extraction and analysis:
Pulling financial data from Oracle systems, cleaning and transforming it for analysis using Oracle's reporting tools.
Financial modeling:
Creating and maintaining financial models to forecast future performance and assess different business scenarios.
Performance reporting:
Generating regular financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Variance analysis:
Identifying and explaining significant deviations from budget and forecast, providing insights into operational performance.
Cost analysis:
Analyzing cost drivers and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Business partnering:
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs, provide financial insights, and support decision-making.
Data visualization:
Presenting complex financial data in clear and concise visualizations using Oracle's reporting tools.
System maintenance:
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Oracle systems.

Required

8-10 years of experience
Proficient in Oracle Financial modules:
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials or Oracle E-Business Suite, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and budgeting functionalities.
Data analysis skills:
Expertise in data manipulation, analysis techniques, and data mining
Financial acumen:
Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and key financial metrics
Reporting and visualization tools:
Proficiency in using Oracle's reporting tools like Oracle BI, Essbase, or other data visualization platforms
Communication skills:
Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
