

ML/NLP - Data Scientist
Location: Onsite 3 days a wk; Hybrid – Office location is Addison TX

• Summary:
The primary objectives of the ML/NLP and AI Data Scientist is to regulate data-driven insights and cutting-edge algorithms throughout the organization.
Data Analysis and Modeling: Leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from data, enabling data-driven decision-making for the client.
Model Development: Creating predictive models and AI-driven solutions that optimize client services, enhance personalization, and improve overall client experiences.
Continuous Improvement: Iterating on models and algorithms to adapt to changing client needs and data trends, ensuring that services evolve to meet evolving expectations.
Data Security and Ethics: Upholding data privacy standards and ethical AI practices to build trust with clients and protect sensitive information.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions seamlessly into client services, aligning technology with business goals.
Innovation: Staying at the forefront of AI and ML advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and provide clients with cutting-edge, competitive services.
Required (hard) skills/experience
• 5-8 years+ Data Scientist professional work experience
• Experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale ML/NLP solutions in one or more of: Named Entity Recognition, Document Classification, Document Summarization, Topic Modelling, Dialog Systems, Sentiment Analysis, OCR text processing
• AI/ML, NLP
• 5+ years Python experience
• Exposure to new Gen AI Open-source Models (recent - 4years)
• Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate others, enjoys working in a team environment
• Drives timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input and when to act independently
• MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proven ability to foster the Identify, Escalate, Debate Risk Culture
• QA/Testing with technology related experience
Desired skills/experience
• • Prior business process management or control framework knowledge
• • Ability to understand systematic evidence as it relates to IT processes
• • Experience with Model Development and Artificial Intelligence processes and deliverables
• • Good understanding of technology / technology risk and control / technology risk management
