Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Machine Learning Engineer to join our Technology team in Mountain View. This role combines expertise in machine learning, algorithms, and software development to design, build, and implement state-of-the-art forecasting models and tools. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of our ML forecasting library, ensuring continuous improvement in model performance and data quality while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement innovative AI and machine learning tools to improve and automate business processes
• Build and optimize machine learning forecasting models
• Design and deploy robust pipelines for data science models
• Create and implement tools to enhance data quality and consistency
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve and refine machine learning models
• Maintain and improve existing ML pipelines for scalability and efficiency
• Help develop and maintain our ML forecasting library
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance model performance in production environments
Required Experience/Skills
• Experience building machine learning forecasting models
• Strong background in algorithms, mathematics, and/or statistics
• Proficient in Python, with strong coding skills
• Experience with software engineering and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with the lifecycle of machine learning solutions, including deployment and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Background in financial technology or business process automation
• Experience with distributed computing systems
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• Advanced degree preferred
Pay & Benefits Summary
Competitive hourly rate of $77/hour (W2)
• Hybrid work arrangement at Mountain View office
