Lead Data Vault Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Vault Engineer/Architect to join our customers team for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing using the Data Vault methodology.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement Data Vault models to support business intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
• Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
• Document designs, processes, and workflows for future reference and compliance.

Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of Data Vault methodology and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, or similar).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architectures.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of data modeling tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with data governance and security practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
