Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics models and algorithms to extract insights from large datasets.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists in best practices for data analysis, modeling, and coding.
Develop ETL processes to gather and prepare data for analysis from various sources.
Utilize big data technologies such as Spark to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Conduct experiments to validate models and improve their accuracy over time.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Stay current with industry trends in data science, machine learning, and quantum engineering.

Skills

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C.
Strong experience with SQL for database management and querying.
Familiarity with linked data concepts and their applications in analytics.
Expertise in ETL processes for data integration from multiple sources.
Knowledge of big data frameworks like Spark for processing large-scale datasets.
Experience in analytics techniques including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
Understanding of quantum engineering principles is a plus but not required.
