Job Role: Cognos BI Developer/ Architect/ Lead
Location: Chicago, IL- 3 days in office
Pay Rate: $70-$75/hr. on C2C
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Architect to design, develop, and lead report and dashboard delivery for clients.
Job Responsibilities:

Architect complex solutions based on custom client requirements.
Lead and support developers in building and maintaining reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
Write and maintain SQL queries to extract data from relational databases.
Analyze business requirements to design and deliver effective reporting solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand information needs and provide insights.
Provide technical support to end-users regarding report and dashboard issues.
Participate in project planning, offering input into solution design and development processes.

Experience Level:

Senior

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, and SaaS Business Intelligence tools.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases, with experience writing complex queries.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to quickly grasp complex business processes.
Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript and CSS.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
