Senior Python Developer – RCM Automation (Healthcare)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with expertise in automation for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate should have strong Python development skills, experience with healthcare APIs (HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835), and a proven ability to integrate with EHR/EMR systems. In the future, the candidate should be willing to learn AI technologies such as OCR, NLP, and Generative AI for RCM automation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based automation solutions for RCM workflows.
• Work with healthcare APIs (HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835) to enable seamless data exchange.
• Implement Selenium and OpenCV-based automation for process efficiency.
• Collaborate with RCM analysts and coding specialists to gather and implement automation requirements.
• Build and optimize scalable data processing pipelines for healthcare applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues to ensure data accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on healthcare technology trends and new data exchange standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:-
✅ 7+ years of Python development experience, with expertise in object-oriented programming.
✅ Strong expertise in Selenium & OpenCV for automation.
✅ Experience with RCM automation, including eligibility verification, claims processing, and payment posting.
✅ Integration experience with EHR/EMR systems and third-party healthcare applications.
✅ Familiarity with API integration and working with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI 837/835).
✅ Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex healthcare workflows.
✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
➕ Experience with RCM automation and healthcare billing systems.
➕ Cloud platforms experience (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
➕ Exposure to AI-driven automation such as OCR, NLP, and Generative AI for future development.
➕ Familiarity with predictive analytics and machine learning for RCM optimization.
➕ Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
