

ETL Developer III
Responsibilities
• Lead the design, implementation, deployment, and optimization of backend ETL services.
• Support large-scale enterprise data solutions using AWS services such as Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, and more.
• Analyze and interpret complex data and provide efficient technical solutions.
• Maintain and monitor ETL schedules, ensuring compliance and optimizing workflows.
• Develop and enforce ETL coding standards and manage project life cycles for ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, platform engineers, product owners) to build data processing procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues and monitor databases to support ETL environments.
• Assist in creating functional specifications and technical designs, working with business process owners.
• Implement best practices for code and configuration in production and non-production environments.
• Provide technical advice, effort estimates, and impact analysis.
• Deliver timely project status updates and report issues to management.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in ETL development, including data cleansing, profiling, and transforming workflows.
• Expertise in SQL—writing, debugging, and optimization.
• 3-4 years of programming experience with Python or PySpark/Glue.
• Knowledge of Big Data processing design patterns, models, and architecture.
• 3-4 years of experience with AWS services like Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, MySQL, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Ability to troubleshoot common database issues and use observability tools.
