DevOps Engineer

Our client, a fast-growing and innovative technology company, is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer with start-up experience to contribute to a cutting-edge environment, leveraging modern DevOps best practices and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
• Set up and manage automated testing services to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with software developers and other engineering teams to streamline DevOps processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience in setting up and managing automated testing services.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud security, and best practices.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and cost optimization strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Contract to Hire: 12 Months

Rate: $65 p/h
