

DevOps Engineer
W2 Opportunity, No H1B's, Hybrid Position - 3 Days/week to Office, Phoenix/Arizona
Job Description:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP and Terraform to manage and deploy cloud solutions, ensuring efficient, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to optimize and automate deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automate deployment processes and manage cloud resources using Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and security within the cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and services.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as required.
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stackdriver.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
