Role Overview: IT professional who bridges the gap between development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle. Implement practices and tools to automate and integrate the processes of software development, testing, and deployment. Responsible for managing infrastructure, configuring, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and ensuring security and compliance. Utilize tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible to automate workflows and improve collaboration between teams. The resource(s) will work at the direction of the assigned state manager, and duties may include the following:

Responsibilities
• Migrate repositories from SVN to GitLab and provide GitLab support MDHS Legacy Teams.
• Micro Focus Enterprise Developer Support, Automation Using Deployment Pipelines,
• Automate workflows using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Kubernetes.
• Train developers on version control and manage infrastructure for deployment.

Skills Required
• Expertise in CI/CD tools, container orchestration, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git or SVN)
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Docker, and system integration.
