Database Developer

Position Title: Database Analyst/Developer

Location: 3 days a week Hybird - Dublin (Ross HQ) - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Contract Duration: 6 months + extensions

About the Role:

The Fixtures Application Lead is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of software tools utilized by the Store Operations Fixtures Planning and Purchasing teams to support the execution of New Store, Remodels, and other Special Projects. This associate will be a technical expert that works with managers to plan out tool enhancements, execute the enhancements leveraging SQL/C#/VBA coding skills, and maintain/administer a server and database containing the underlying data behind the Fixtures program.

Must Haves:
• Experience with Microsoft SQL / SQL Server
• Experience with manual ETL of excel files and putting them into a database (Pulling a lot of reports, PO'S, Store plans, and extracting those lists and data and uploading them into a database such as PeopleSoft)
• Note - These reports are already built, they should be able to do some ad-hoc reports and tweak ones that exist already but it is mainly taking those files and getting them into the database manually)
• Experience with VBA or Visual Studio (This is code that easily integrates with Microsoft office applications. Any light coding experience would be awesome)
