

Database Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle 19c databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Design and implement Oracle Multi-Tenant Architecture and RAC Database infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and system alerts.
• Automate and streamline database processes using Unix/Linux shell scripting or other scripting tools.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using OEM or third-party tools.
• Implement and manage RMAN backup strategies, ensuring successful backup and recovery processes.
• Support production environments, including after-hours production support as required.
• Manage Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and work with Oracle Exadata infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Ensure data privacy and protection compliance within database environments.
• Participate in logical database design and data modeling activities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux and Unix operating systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s):
• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• 1+ years of experience with Oracle 19c Multi-Tenant Architecture and RAC Database design.
• Proficiency in Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle backup methodologies, RMAN backups, and database restores.
• Strong expertise in SQL tuning and database performance optimization.
• Experience with Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp) for data migration.
• Ability to write Unix/Linux shell scripts and Perl scripts for automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
• Familiarity with Oracle Exadata and Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and database security best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning and database architecture.
• Experience migrating non-CDB databases to CDB (Container Databases).
• Familiarity with Informatica for ETL and data integration.
