

Data Warehouse Analyst
Salary: $19.95 to $23.10 hourly
Description
A Configuration Technician is responsible for the setup, installation, and configuration of computer hardware, software, and network systems. They ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets organizational or client requirements. This role involves troubleshooting, system testing, and documentation to maintain consistency across deployments.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble, install, and configure hardware components such as desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices.
• Install and update operating systems, drivers, and software applications.
• Configure and test network settings, security protocols, and peripheral devices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Perform quality assurance tests to ensure system stability and functionality.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, settings, and procedures.
• Assist in system imaging and deployment of IT infrastructure.
• Work with IT teams to implement updates, patches, and security protocols.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
• Associate degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred).
• Experience with hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VPNs).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Work Environment
• May require working in an office, IT lab, or data center.
• Some roles involve on-site client visits or remote troubleshooting.
• Physical requirements may include lifting and moving computer equipment.
