Our client is seeking a Data Visualization & Survey Management Specialist to support the company's Small Business Index, a monthly measure of small business health in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining data visualizations while overseeing survey distribution and analysis. You will work closely with the company's data analysts, external economists, and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Visualization
• Develop a new dashboard for the Small Business Index using AWS QuickSight.
• Manage and maintain interactive charts for the Small Business Index on a monthly basis using Datawrapper.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all visualizations, following a meticulous review process before publication.

Survey Management
• Distribute quarterly surveys to small businesses using Mailchimp.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external economists to refine survey methodologies and meet project milestones.
• Analyze and categorize survey data, preparing it for visualization and reporting.

What You Bring
• Experience in data visualization and survey data management is essential.
• Strong familiarity with data visualization tools (experience with AWS QuickSight and Datawrapper is a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure 100% data accuracy.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple deliverables.
• Strong project management skills, including scoping, forward-planning, and resource management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Additional expertise in infographic design for data visualization is an advantage.
• Relevant qualifications in data visualization, project management, and/or economics are beneficial.
