Job Title: Data Scientist – AI, ML, and Optimization Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL - Onsite Hybrid (M/T/Th office ; 2 days WFH)

Duration: Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

AI and Machine Learning Implementation:

Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimize supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics.

Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, enhancing operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Optimization:

Design and implement optimization algorithms to improve delivery routes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optimization solutions into existing systems.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and patterns, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.

Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related field.

7+ years of experience with Data Science with AI/ML

Proven experience in developing and deploying AI and machine learning models in a retail or supply chain context.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Demonstrated expertise in optimization techniques and algorithms.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the retail food industry.
