What are we looking for in our Data Scientist III?

Data Scientist III

Location: Remote - PST

Duration: 12 months

Hourly Rate: $75 to $80/hr W2

Job Summary:

The Data Scientist III will be responsible for coordinating database changes, testing, and implementing databases while ensuring data security and integrity. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights for marketing campaigns, reporting, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with growth marketers, program managers, and analytics teams to define data and metric requirements.

Design, build, and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools.

Develop and optimize ETL processes to support scalable marketing campaigns and reporting automation.

Write high-quality SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

Identify and resolve data integrity and accuracy issues in reporting and dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience:

Education: BA or BS degree in a STEM field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analysis and database management.

Technical Skills:

Strong SQL expertise (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.).

Experience with ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.

Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.) and report automation.

Experience using Python and R.

Ability to build and operate distributed data extraction, ingestion, and processing systems.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry Experience: Business-oriented Data Scientist with a marketing background.
