The Backup and Storage will be responsible for defining the roadmap, implementation and operations of Backup and Storage. Will review current footprint and implementation and create a roadmap and plan for improvement and changes for on-premises and public cloud.

Qualifications:

Expertise in large scale architecture and deployment of enterprise backup and storage solutions across multiple data centers, sites, and public cloud.
Experience with back up strategy in public cloud such as Azure and AWS.
Experience working with managed service providers.
Experience in designing storage technology and integrating various cloud storage options.
Experience in capacity planning and perform analysis of current landscape of storage workloads and storage pools.
8 + years of experience in implementing enterprise scale backup and storage solutions.
Proven experience includes SAN-based block storage, object storage, and file storage.
Experience with remote security key managers
Ability to work across the infrastructure team to create vision and roadmap for various infrastructure teams (VMware, Network, Linux, Windows, Unix, etc.)
Ability to author and implement basic scripting and coding to automate technical needs such as to move files, backup, create configuration, or other tasks
Good Understanding of Shell/Python and Ansible scripting.

Role and Responsibilities

Oversee provisioning, and management of ~40+ PBs of data storage supporting manufacturing, engineering and administrative systems across multiple geographical sites.
Lead and coordinate the engineering phases of storage solution delivery including planning, design, buildout, testing, procurement, and transition to operational support
Experience in managing enterprise storage solutions including Netapp, PURE, Brocade SAN, Netbackup Flex appliances and Data Domain.
Design and develop basic integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance of Data Protection solutions (Netbackup, Data Domain, Netapp snapvault and Snap center)
Administer robust storage and backup solutions to meet demanding organizational and application specific SLAs including, but not limited to, HA, RTO/RPO, offsite requirements and disaster recovery to datacenters or public cloud providers.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.30/hour - $61.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
