Overview:

We are seeking a Data Migration Specialist who will support our client in the development of a modern Case Management System (CMS) that is user-friendly to perform, manage, and integrate daily workflow processes and data systems. The Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the transition to the new CMS is seamless, secure, and successful, helping to maintain the integrity and availability of critical case data throughout the process. The ideal candidate must have experience and be comfortable with migrating data hosted in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud-based delivery model.

Duties

   • Ensure that data is successfully and accurately transferred from the antiquated CMS to the new CSM solution that will be a Saas cloud-based delivery model.

   • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure that the CMS is prepared for migration and all technical requirements are met.

   • Map, QA, and analyze data from the source system to the target system to ensure all relevant data fields are accurate, complete, and consistent.

   • Run test migrations, validate data, and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT)

   • Reconcile migrated data, troubleshoot any errors, and perform data clean up.

   • Create migration plans and document data mapping rules for future reference and ensure clarity of mapping logic.

   • Ensure data security by following security protocols.

Mandatory Qualifications:

   • 5+ years of experience with migrating data to SaaS cloud-based delivery models.

   • Experience with Case Management Systems (CMS), legacy systems, and large-scale data migration projects.

   • Experience with data mapping, data quality assessment, and data profiling/analysis

   • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and migration.

   • Experience with troubleshooting and delivering solutions to issues or discrepancies found with the data migration.

   • Familiarity with data security protocols in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, or privacy requirements.

   • Proficient in database management, data extraction, transformation, and loading tools (ETL), scripting languages, and SQL.

   • Knowledge of Appian.

   • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

   • Experience with government.
