Key Responsibilities
• Data Cataloging: Maintain and update the data catalog to ensure accurate metadata is available for all data assets.
• Metadata Management: Develop and manage metadata repositories and workflows to support data governance initiatives.
• Data Quality Assurance: Implement data profiling, quality assessment, and cleansing techniques to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
• Data Lineage Tracking: Create and maintain documentation on data lineage to demonstrate data flow and transformation processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with data stewards, business units, and IT teams to define data governance policies and best practices.
• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to data governance frameworks and compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Training & Awareness: Conduct training sessions to promote data governance awareness and best practices among staff members.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on data governance metrics and insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data governance, data management, or data quality roles.
• Proficiency in Informatica Data Governance tools (e.g., Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog).
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) is a plus.
