Our client, a leading organization in the nonprofit sector, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the IT Department supporting data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a personable attitude, a self-starter mentality, and a passion for data which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: 1924 Capital Boulevard, Raleigh, NC 27604 (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay Range: $35-$37 per hour

What's the Job?
• Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that collect, process, and store data from various sources.
• Integrating data from different sources, ensuring it is clean, consistent, and usable for analysis.
• Transforming raw data into a structured format that can be easily analyzed.
• Collaborating closely with leadership, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Continuously monitoring data pipelines and systems to ensure they are running smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.

What's Needed?
• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in a technical field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure technologies, specifically Azure Fabric, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, data system development, or related roles.
• Experience with data warehousing, relational databases, and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) technologies.
• Project management experience and a belief in the mission of the organization.
