Data Engineer

Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to work on a project with one of our premier clients in the IT industry. This role will focus on data manipulation, middleware handling, and optimizing data workflows using Azure Data Lake, SQL, Power BI, or Power Automate.

Applicants must be able to work for any US employer without additional work visa sponsorship.

What YOU will do:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake.
• Work with SQL databases to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
• Implement and manage data middleware solutions to streamline integration between systems.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or automate workflows with Power Automate.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
• Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and optimize data solutions.

What YOU will bring us:
• Proven experience in data manipulation and transformation.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Lake, SQL, Power BI, or Power Automate.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration methodologies.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing data performance.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
