Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description

Our Multinational Enterprise Software Client are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support the operationalisation of a recently acquired data platform. The primary focus will be to ensure the platform can coexist with existing systems, maintain performance standards, and serve customers effectively. This role involves maintaining and updating existing features rather than developing new ones. Key responsibilities and skills required are detailed below.

Responsibilities

   • Update PowerBI dashboards and visualisations for analytics, ensuring they are deployed through the environment.

   • Understand and manage existing Terraform code.

   • Work with Snowflake Data Warehouse, with a preference for candidates holding a SnowPro certification.

   • Build SQL models, debug models, and develop SQL using DBT (Data Build Tool).

   • Familiarity with RudderStack and Stitch is appreciated but not essential.

Essential Skills

   • Proficiency in PowerBI for dashboard updates and visualisation.

   • Experience with Terraform.

   • Knowledge of Snowflake Data Warehouse.

   • Strong SQL development skills and experience with DBT.

   • Basic understanding of Python.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

   • SnowPro certification (ideal but not essential).

   • RudderStack and Stitch experience (appreciated but not essential).

   • Excellent communication skills.

   • Strong documentation skills.

   • Ability to work effectively within a team.
