About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Evidence, Research and Intelligence Team as a Senior Net Zero Data Analyst. This post will play a key role in supporting the Government to deliver its net-zero ambitions. The post holder will be aligned to the Net Zero Hub Programme team supporting them to ensure the delivery of a series of innovative tools and data driven projects.
The North West Net Zero Hub Programme Team is a group of project development, energy and environmental sector professionals who lead on some of the most exciting and transformational projects across the North West. The Team is based within the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority working with partners across the North West.
Please note that secondments are welcome.

You will have a passion for the net zero agenda
You will have excellent numerical and analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and data sets
You have excellent organisation skills, personal resilience and ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines
You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently and work effectively across teams and departments with colleagues and clients
You can explain and present complex analysis to non-information/data staff
You have a proficient professional level of IT skills required including GIS and Power BI
You will understand how your work contributes to the wider impact on local people and the economy
