Location: Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid - 3 Days/Week in Office)

Duration: 12 Month of Project (Temp to Hire)

Pay Rate: $50/hr. to $59/hr. on W2 (without benefits)

Position Overview:
• We are seeking a Data Engineer with a blend of expertise in application development and data engineering. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and traditional on-premise systems. The position requires proficiency in Java, Python, and some experience with C. The role will involve working on unified projects that require both data engineering and application development skills (50/50 split).

Responsibilities:
• Minimum 5 Years of experience
• Design, develop, and maintain applications in cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premises environments.
• Develop and manage data processing and batch jobs using Python.
• Contribute to both data engineering and application development tasks for unified projects.
• Work with traditional databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
• Use standard CI/CD pipelines for code deployment and automation.
• Support ongoing development lifecycle activities, including troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of systems.

Must-Have Skills:
• Proficiency in Java or Python (preferably both).
• Experience with C language (minimal experience in the past will be acceptable).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 databases (any of these).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and on-premises systems.
• Experience in application development and data engineering (a 50/50 mix of both).

Good-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.

Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
