Key Responsibilities:

   • Gather and assess business information needs to develop system requirements.

   • Perform data analysis, data mining, and evaluation of data in the Snowflake cloud data warehouse.

   • Design, develop, and manage data warehouse solutions, including database architecture and data management.

   • Utilize Informatica PowerCenter, Intelligent Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Catalog for ETL/ELT processes.

   • Use Power BI and Tableau for data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

   • Review and validate data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy and consistency.

   • Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and develop data solutions.

   • Provide technical consulting on data warehouse usage, data conflicts, and appropriate data handling.

   • Prototype, build, and test data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.

   • Ensure data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and transformation processes are optimized.

   • Develop and maintain enterprise data models to support analytics and business intelligence.

   • Stay updated with new software tools, scripting languages, and best practices related to Snowflake and Informatica.

   • Mentor and coach peers in data warehousing concepts, tool utilization, and best practices.

   • Maintain and document methods, processes, and practices related to data warehousing and analytics.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

   • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

   • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

   • Minimum 7 years of IT experience in data management, business intelligence, and data warehousing.

   • Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake.

   • Strong expertise in ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and data quality assurance.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  1. Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts.

  1. Ability to model transactional data for effective data warehousing.

  1. Expertise in Snowflake cloud data warehouse functionality.

  1. Advanced skills in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud functionality.

  1. Strong experience in Informatica and Snowflake administration.

  1. Proficiency in Informatica Data Quality and Enterprise Data Catalog.

  1. Experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.

  1. Strong understanding of relational database platforms such as DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
