Data Engineer ETL Informatica IDQ/CDQ Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer Lead with expertise in ETL, Informatica IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) or CDQ (Cloud Data Quality) to lead data integration, data quality, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing data pipelines, data quality frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

ETL & Data Engineering:
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, and other ETL tools.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data to build efficient data pipelines.
• Ensure high-performance data integration and transformation processes.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, performance tuning, and ETL workflows.

Data Quality & Governance:
• Implement and manage Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or Informatica Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) solutions.
• Define and maintain data quality rules, profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.
• Work with data stewards and business stakeholders to establish data governance frameworks.
• Monitor and enhance data quality using data profiling, metadata management, and lineage tracking.

Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and quality analysts.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and product teams to understand data needs.
• Work closely with cloud engineers and DevOps teams to integrate data pipelines with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Technical & Process Improvements:
• Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing to improve performance and scalability.
• Automate data pipeline deployments using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new tools in ETL, data quality, and cloud data management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in ETL development, data quality management, and data governance.
• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IDQ/CDQ, and Informatica Cloud.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience (relational & dimensional).
• Experience with cloud platforms ( GCP) and working with cloud-based ETL solutions.
• Knowledge of data profiling, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).
• Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, or other scripting languages for automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and interact with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in big data technologies (Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Familiarity with data cataloging tools and AI-driven data quality solutions.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Certification in Informatica, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
