Position: Data Engineer with (Python/Spark/PySpark/AWS)
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid/On-Site)
Job Type: 6+ Months Contract to Hire (Full Time)
Note: This is a W2 role only (No C2C or 1099).
Job Description & Required Skills:
• 6+ Years of Experience required.
• Must have Python/Spark/PySpark/AWS.
• Candidate be strong in both java & Pyspark (Python + Spark) 70% Pyspark 30% Java
• Other 3 resources need to be strong in Python/Spark/Pyspark
• Should be strong in SQL
• Will be creating a pipeline and writing in Pyspark Migrating from a legacy platform to a new platform
• This is an AWS Migration project MUST BE STRONG IN AWS. Databricks is a plus, if it s on the resume they MUST be able to speak to it.
• Should have Data lake Experience.
• If it s on the resume, the team will ask about it.
