Data Engineer - 2 Year Contract - Hybrid, Beaverton Oregon - W2 ONLY, NO C2C OR OPT EAD.

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Python Data Engineer for a contract role. You’ll design and optimize scalable data pipelines, collaborate with engineers and data scientists, and work with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

   • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python.

   • Design and implement data curation, modeling, and warehousing solutions.

   • Diagnose and resolve issues in existing data pipelines.

   • Work with AWS services and ETL tools for large-scale data processing.

Required Qualifications:

   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

   • 8+ years in IT, 6+ years in Python for data processing.

   • Expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, and REST API development.

   • Experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, Athena, EMR), ETL tools (Airflow, Glue), and NoSQL databases.

   • Strong communication skills and experience with DevOps/Git workflows.
