Data Analytics Manager

Job Overview:
Airbus North America IM (Information Management) is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Platform Administrator to manage locally hosted analytics platforms. The role will report to the Director of Digital Transformation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:Analytics Platform Administration (60%)

Administer, install, maintain, and upgrade locally hosted analytics platforms (Alteryx, SQL Server, Tableau).
Perform system operations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
Monitor and manage licenses, release notes, security bulletins, and user access.
Liaise with Digital, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Services, and Desktop Services teams.
Conduct audits and generate reports on platform usage and performance.
Implement system-level updates, including certificate management and firewall change requests.
Provide documentation on processes, procedures, and knowledge articles for service desks.

Analytics Development (10%)

Develop reports and dashboards on platform usage and system performance.
Support data analysts by troubleshooting platform issues.
Assist in developing ETL workflows and visualizations.
Contribute to Analytics team activities, including maintenance and operations.

Knowledge and Support on Other Analytics Platforms (10%)

Support additional enterprise analytics platforms (Qlik Sense, Palantir Foundry).
Assist in project scoping and decision-making related to analytics solutions.

Analytics Research (10%)

Research and document new features and improvements in existing tools.
Stay up to date with analytics trends and emerging technologies.
Recommend innovative ways to enhance analytics tools and business processes.

Other Duties (10%)

Participate in various analytics-related activities as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business or equivalent experience.
Experience:
3+ years in Windows applications installation and configuration, specifically analytics tools.
3+ years in database management and data security.
2+ years in Windows Server and desktop administration.
2+ years in business and data analysis.
2+ years delivering products under Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in Windows Operating Systems and administration.
Knowledge of SQL databases and tools (SQL Server preferred).
Experience in installing/upgrading applications on Windows Servers.
Understanding of certificates, networking, authentication methods, ODBC, firewalls, Active Directory, Windows services, and Task Scheduler.
Hands-on experience with Tableau, Alteryx, or equivalent analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Qlik Sense, Palantir Foundry, or other enterprise analytics platforms.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
