Data Analyst/Scientist

Akkodis is seeking a –“Data Analyst/Scientist” for a Contract position with a client located Bay Area/San Jose, Austin, Chicago/Washington.

Pay Range: $45-$50/hr (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist proficient in SQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a knack for interpreting data, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large datasets, drawing meaningful conclusions and insights.
• Develop and implement algorithms and predictive models to optimize [specific business area] performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
• Interpret and communicate findings to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data science and analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with expertise in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
