Data Analyst

Long Term Contract (6 month rolling basis; possibility of conversion to an FTE)

Location: Hybrid (2-4 days a week onsite), Denver CO

Pay Rate: $55/hr+ on W2 with benefits

Summary:

Our fortune 75 MSO client is in need of a data analyst to enable data-driven decision making and in-time health monitoring of WiFi and Mobile products by building and deploying product and feature specific analytics capabilities. You will support product teams with the complex design, development and implementation of automated reporting and dashboards. You will have the opportunity to build complex ad hoc reports and analytics. The end result will be robust analytics for measuring product health, usage and customer value.

You are joining at an exciting time when this team is taking on work designated with one of the most important customer segments (wireline), and this team is tasked with creating quality metrics. This will involve some new data science work on top of the querying and dashboarding.

This team is focused on analytics across a product portfolio dedicated to the wireline quality effort, which is the largest segment of customers. They are a team of analysts dedicated to this project, and they are growing to support additional efforts on these product enhancements.

Responsibilities:
• Expertly use analytical tools to provide insight and make recommendations
• Interact with various stakeholders to understand their business needs, communicate project status and develop relationships to ensure satisfaction
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to address specific business questions from stakeholder groups
• Perform code reviews with other developers
• Collaborate with other members of the team

Required Qualifications:
• Design, develop, and implement complex reports and analytics
• Very Strong SQL
• Be able to write and do code reviews
• Tableau experience preferred, some visualization required (Power BI, SSRS, etc.)
• Strong communication and collaboration
• Ability to help others when needed instead of just delegating tasks

• Spark /Pyspark
• Shell
• Git
