We are currently working with a Local Authority in West Wales who are looking to recruit a Data Analyst with Power BI developer experience, with a proven track record of using data from a wide variety of sources.
Job: Data Analyst 
Duration: 6-months
Rate: £300/day via Umbrella Company, Inside IR35
Site presence: Remote 
Main duties
• Implementation of the new Corporate Performance Framework currently under development
• To work with services across the council to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical support with the production of appropriate dashboards and reports nested within the Corporate Performance Framework
• Produce clear, accurate reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI that can be used by Service Managers, Heads of Service, Strategic Directors, CEO and Councillors as appropriate
• Provide training and guidance to staff and members on data collection, interpretation of, and creation and usage of Power BI reports
• Gather, clean and maintain data sets from various council departments and external sources
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with data strategy, data protection and information governance regulations, standards and guidelines.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
• Work with data analysts within Strata and the partner councils who make up Strata to share best practice and opportunities for collaboration
