Data Analyst (Tableau & Automation) – Austin, TX (Hybrid/W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst (Tableau & Automation) to join our team and contribute to the development of multiple data-driven products, including the DPS report, ITD dashboard, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, Tableau dashboard creation, Tableau Prep workflows, and proficiency with Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about leveraging data visualization and automation to enhance decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and data visualizations.
• Create and deploy data flows using Tableau Prep to optimize data processing.
• Perform data analysis and research to ensure data accuracy and usability.
• Assist with automation efforts for existing data products.
• Work with Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze datasets.
• (Preferred) Utilize geospatial analysis platforms like ESRI for mapping and spatial data insights.

Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience developing products using Tableau Creator.
• 3+ years of experience creating and deploying data flows in Tableau Prep.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis and research.
• (Preferred) 1+ year of experience with Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
• (Preferred) 1+ year of experience with geospatial analysis tools like ESRI.
