

Data Analyst
Job Description
At the direction of the Data Analytics Supervisor, FCS Supervisor, and the Principal Manager, the analyst will work with the Data Analytics Senior Data Analyst to manage the 2025 Child Custody Outcome Study, including consulting with FCS staff, making any necessary revisions to the survey instruments in Qualtrics, administering the surveys to staff at participant courts, providing technical assistance with Qualtrics to court and FCS staff, conducting data analysis, preparing data governance documentation for project survey instruments and datasets, and reporting on progress to program staff. The position will work with the courts and program staff to identify and address data quality issues and provide assistance with developing statistical summaries of data collected in reports for program staff, office leadership, and participant courts.
Required Skills (preferred skills in parentheses)
(Experience developing and administering surveys in Qualtrics.)
(Documented experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis for research projects.)
Experience with creating data metrics and visualizations through Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
Ability to create data dictionaries, readmes, handbooks, and other data governance materials in accordance with industry standards and Judicial Council Policy.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Strong written and oral skills.
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a directly related field such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science, etc., is preferred.
