Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Irwindale, CA (Hybrid, Onsite Wednesday and Thursday)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Range: $33.00 - $35.00/hr. on W2
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support Customer Generation Programs (CGP). The role involves utilizing data visualization, building solutions, and managing CGP dashboards. You will collaborate with clients and leadership to create dashboards, provide actionable insights, and drive data-informed decisions. This role will also support the development and enhancement of Renewable Energy Programs and Incentives through critical data analysis and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop intuitive dashboards for CGP, using data visualization tools such as SAS Visual Analytics and Power BI.
• Translate complex data into actionable intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
• Work with leadership to improve the effectiveness of Renewable Energy Programs and Incentives by analyzing and interpreting performance data.
• Support regulatory compliance programs, providing data-driven recommendations related to Interconnection and Incentive programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and provide periodic data reports and queries using SAS.
• Provide data validation procedures to ensure the accuracy of all provided data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft platforms (including Power BI) and other applications.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis, especially with large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization applications, particularly SAS Visual Analytics and Power BI.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with SAP, particularly in customer and billing modules.
• Ability to report and communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Experience in gathering data, generating queries, and ensuring data accuracy.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience in data warehousing, data extraction, and statistical forecasting.
• Familiarity with database development tools such as Business Objects (BOBJ), Alteryx, Snowflake, and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Ability to design and automate workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Team player with a proactive approach to meetings and collaboration, offering creative ideas for process improvements.
