Description
• Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques.
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work closely with management to prioritise business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities within the Accounting & Finance department.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Filter and clean data, and review computer reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Collaborate with the team to establish business objectives, develop models, and define reporting metrics.

Profile

A Successful Data Analyst Should Have
• Great attention to detail
• Confident ability with Excel
• Experience as a data analyst or finance analyst or in a related field.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets.
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
