Job Title: Data Analyst with Azure and Snowflake (Contract)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Azure and Snowflake for a contract position in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data identification, querying, cleaning, wrangling, and quality checking. They will be responsible for driving automation, pulling measurements from systems to derive KPIs, and supporting the evaluation of best practices and optimization on quality, cost, and speed to delivery and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into data requirements such as reports, visualizations, and data lifecycle management.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions.
• Drive automation and pull measurements from systems to derive KPIs.
• Support the evaluation of introducing best practices and optimization on quality, cost, and speed to delivery and problem resolution.
Must-Have Skills:
• Snowflake
• SQL Server (Stored Procedures, SQL Queries, etc.)
• SSRS
• Data Analyst Automation (Azure and Snowflake)
• Data Profiling
• Data Visualization skills using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Strong SQL Skills (Query, Stored Procedures, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• Experience in identifying and querying data using both standard relational and non-relational systems.
• Solid understanding of both structured and unstructured data.
• Strong skills in data profiling and SQL for analyzing source-target data and generating Source-Target Mapping Sheets (STTM).
• Experience working in big data environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Hands-on experience in Snowflake.
• Proficiency with reporting tools like Power BI.
