Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

System Design & Documentation:
• Develop system design specifications.
• Create and prepare documents for the design of data reporting solutions that align with system and security requirements.
• Document specifications for databases, communication systems, data storage, and software configurations related to reporting projects.
• Prepare structured diagrams for databases, communication systems, and storage area networks.
• Maintain and document configurations for reporting requirements, databases, servers, security, network monitoring systems, queries, macros, and reporting dashboards.

Reporting System Development & Maintenance:
• Collaborate with ITS staff (managers, senior programmers, support staff, and product managers) to implement reporting code, enhancements, and changes.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain reporting codes.
• Create reports, audit trails, and security mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
• Provide support to ITS technical staff when they require assistance resolving database, reporting, or IT-related issues.
• Communicate with customers to clarify new reporting features and resolve potential problems.
• Offer general programming assistance for ITS projects as needed.

Qualifications:
• Experience in data analysis, database design, and reporting system development.
• Strong understanding of data reporting solutions, security protocols, and software configurations.
• Ability to design and document structured diagrams and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in querying databases, macros, reporting dashboard systems, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
