Requisition Name: Data Analysis (Healthcare)

Location: Salem, OR - Hybrid

Duration: 10+ Months Contract

Experience: 12+ Years Need

Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis: Analyze the current HAL system, including reviewing documentation, data models, schemas, ETL processes, and system management.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with OHA teams (PMs, BAs, DBAs, analysts) to gather and document detailed system and integration requirements.
• ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement new ETL code using SQL, replacing legacy SAS code.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Test, troubleshoot, and implement the new ETL code in both test and production environments.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including business users and technical staff, to ensure data and technical requirements are met.

Required Skills & Experience:
• SQL Programming: Advanced experience with SQL development, including creating stored procedures and ETL processes.
• Data Analysis: Strong skills in data analysis, particularly with Medicaid data and analytical solutions.
• ETL Development: Proven ability to reprogram legacy SAS ETL code to SQL-based ETL solutions.
• Code Management Tools: Experience with Microsoft DevOps or similar code management tools.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to document requirements, communicate with teams, and present findings.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• SAS Experience: Experience in managing and converting legacy SAS code to SQL.
• Azure Experience: Familiarity with Azure cloud environments, especially in the context of data management.
• Healthcare Data: Experience working with Medicaid claims, enrollment data, and related healthcare data systems.

Qualifications:
• Work Experience: Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology.
• Education Substitution: Accredited college training (up to 4 years), graduate training (up to 2 years), or IT certification (up to 2 years) may substitute for work experience.
• Relevant Experience: At least two years of work experience as an Application Systems Analysis/Programming Specialist may substitute for required experience.
